Book Match
Book matching is achieved by turning over every other veneer flitch component to match the grain from component to component across the panel for an aesthetically pleasing product.
Book Matched and Slip Matched veneer are sliced from the log instead of peeled from the log.
Slip Match
Slip Matched veneer flitches are spliced side-by-side without matching the grain at the joints.
Slip Matching creates the look of laying boards side by side.
Continuous Match
Continuous match veneer is actually a misnomer as there is no matching. Instead, a continuous sheet of Rotary Cut veneer is used to produce a very broad grain pattern.
