General Characteristics
Aniegre is typically found in East Africa and is considered to closely resemble Birch.
It is pale to reddish-brown in color with a nice even straight grain.
Aniegre is very dense, therefore, carbide tooling is recommended when machining.
It finishes very well and has excellent nail holding and gluing properties.
