General Characteristics
Often referred to as Brazilian Cherry, Jatoba is a very hard and durable wood with excellent shock resistance.
Jatoba is reddish brown in color with a faint golden glow.

Jatoba lumber is primarily used for flooring, furniture, and tool handles.
