General Characteristics
Yellow Poplar is one of the most valued hardwood species because of its abundance and versatility. It is reasonably stable and machines and glues quite well.
Poplar has a light to dark green heartwood with creamy sapwood.
Typical Applications
Yellow Poplar is used extensively for both paint- and stain-grade moulding.
