TrimJoist® combines the advantages of an open-web floor truss with the versatility of a trimmable wooden I-joist.
As its name suggests, TrimJoist® can be cut to length on-site for a precise fit. Its open-web design gives subcontractors an efficient way to run electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems through the floor system, while providing architects greater design flexibility.
Each joist features a 3.5-inch-wide nailing flange on both the top and bottom, helping ensure a solid, squeak-free floor when properly installed.
